Day Retreat: The Buddhist Wheel of Life

 This day retreat with Scarborough Triratna Buddhist Group will be led by Mahasraddha and team.  And we will explore, through teaching and meditation, The Buddhist Wheel of Life, an ancient symbol of tremendous spiritual significance.

The Wheel of Life represents the Buddhist understanding of life, a mirror held up to the human heart and mind.

Within its depths, we see the forces that limit and bind us.

We see the happiness and the suffering we create for ourselves.

We see the chain of ingrained habits that make us who we are.

And, looking deeper still, we begin to see the way to freedom.

Come and join us for this day retreat.  All welcome, you don't need to be a Buddhist, or want to be a Buddhist!  This event is suitable for everyone aged 18 and above.

Apart from a £15 booking fee this day retreat is freely offered. However, we do have costs to cover, and any additional donation (dana) on the day would be very much appreciated.

The Meeting House is accessible to wheelchair-users, including toilet and car-parking space. Hearing loop.
