PRACTICE NIGHT:
Turn of the Year Puja
Wednesday 1 January 2025 7pm – 9:15pm
As the old year fades,
As the light returns,
May I be renewed as the earth is renewed,
May my being blossom as the earth begins to blossom.
On this, the first day of the New Year we gather together to let go of what has gone before and open our hearts and minds to what is to come with a sense of acceptance and gratitude for what we have and thankfulness for our lives.
The evening will begin with meditation when we will have an opportunity to reflect on some of the gifts in our life - the gift of the Dharma, the gift of friendship and the gift of our precious human life. After the break there will be a specially written 7-Fold Puja for the turn of the year with readings and mantras and an opportunity to make an offering of your own to the Three Jewels. Please bring something from nature to place on the shrine.
This evening is open to all and as usual there is no specific charge but we would ask that you make a donation to help keep the centre open. We suggest around £10 or whatever you can afford.
