Wednesday PRACTICE Night:
Winter Solstice Puja
Wednesday 16 December 2026 7pm – 9:15pm
21 st December is the point in the calendar when the year changes and the
light begins to return as we move slowly towards Spring. So this
Wednesday at Practice Night we will be celebrating the Winter Solstice - a
time to rejoice in the coming renewal of the natural world and also in our
aspiration to transform ourselves as well.
The first half of the evening will feature a meditation as usual and, after a
tea break we will celebrate this special time of the year with a special
puja, or poetical devotional practice, written for the occasion. This is an
opportunity to celebrate the turn of the light and all that it might promise.
There will also be a special winter shrine to set the scene
