Nourishing the Lotus Pool
Wednesday 25 October 2023 7pm – 9pm
When the Buddha became Enlightened, he had a vision of a vast Lotus Pool, full of hundreds of beautiful lotus buds. Some were clinging to the mud underwater, some were just rising out of the water and some were lifting themselves high above the water, blossoming into beautiful flowers. The Buddha saw that we, too, are like lotus flowers, emerging from the mud of the world, freeing ourselves from craving, aversion and delusion, and gradually emerging towards Awakening.
The Lotus Pool is our precious sangha but, beautiful as it is, it needs constant nourishing
