Wednesday Lunchtime Meditation

Every Wednesday all through the year

12.10 to 12.50pm every Wednesday (doors open at 12 noon)  

Meditating with like-minded people can be much easier than meditating alone, especially when the meditation is gently guided. And whether you are a regular meditator or a complete beginner, you will be very welcome to join us at our friendly lunchtime sessions.

We practise two meditations: A calming meditation following the breath, and another that helps us to cultivate positive feelings to ourselves and others. We alternate these practices so that you can enjoy both at different times.

There is no charge but a small donation of £3-£5 would be appreciated.


The session is open to everyone over 18. You don't need to be a Buddhist! And newcomers and those new to meditation are very welcome.

We also meet on Saturday Mornings:

10.30am to 12.00 noon (doors open from 10.15)

 

There is no charge for any of our classes as we want everyone to be able to attend, regardless of means. However we rely on donations to pay all our substantial running costs. We would therefore appreciate a contribution if you are able. We suggest something like £3-£5 for lunchtime sessions and £5-£10 for Saturday mornings. But please pay whatever you can manage.
