Mitra Ceremony - Postponed

Mitra Ceremony - Postponed

Wednesday 30 September 2020 9am – 11:15am

Technically, as a religious movement, we could have gone ahead but the new regulations mean that we could not chant together or recite the puja together. Socialising of any kind would not have been allowed either and there could be no food or drink. The mitras-to-be and the centre team believe that this is such an important occasion both for the individuals concerned and the sangha as a whole, that it is best to postpone the ceremony until it can be celebrated fully in the traditional way.
