Traditionally the Buddha let go of everything that caused him suffering and finally attained Awakening on the full moon night of May/June. This year that is 16th May. so this evening we will be celebrating this momentous event in the world's history (when according to legend, the earth shook in response)

The evening will include a talk by Shakyapada about the Buddha's Enlightenment and how he finally realised Enlightenment after years of struggle. All welcome
